Joe and Mamma Bertolone will take good care of you. This is real, homemade, authentic Italian. While you're waiting for a seat, Mamma just might bring around the basket of her delicious bread. If you don't eat enough, she'll tell you ya better get some more, it's good! And she's right!

Artichoke Chicken

I wish I could remember what I actually did, but it was loosely based on this recipe.

ARTICHOKE-CHICKEN CASSEROLE

6 boneless chicken breast halves
2 tbsp. oil
4 tbsp. flour
2 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. salt
Pinch pepper
3 tbsp. brandy or sherry
2 tsp. lemon juice
1 1/2 c. water
2 chicken bouillon cubes
1 (8 oz.) tub sour cream
1 can artichoke hearts

Dredge chicken breasts in flour and brown in oil in skillet. Into 9x13 casserole pan, arrange chicken and artichoke hearts.

In small saucepan, melt butter, 2 tbsp. flour, salt, pepper and stir. Add brandy, lemon juice, water and bouillon cubes. Stir until thick, then add sour cream

Tender Coupea

So I was trying to buy some fungus or something, and I dunno WTF I brought home from the Asian market, hahahaha. The package says Tender Coupea.
Maybe it's a bean.

The Engrish translation is very funny.

Ingredients: Vengetable, eatl
suger, oil, hotpepper and so on

and yes, that's exactly how it's typed on the package.
You can't make this stuff up!!!
